While working at the innovative startup Ucentric Systems on the software for their DVR/Media Center, I was a core member of the front-end development team. Part of my responsibilities included leading the team that created the user interface as well as pushing the limits of Flash and Actionscript at the time. I also developed the product's most complex feature, the program guide the drove the DVR functionality and assisted in the development of several other major features.

I was responsible for several aspects of this web-based mortgage industry solution. In addition to developing several new modules of functionality, I helped improve existing logic and performance, decreasing processing time by up to 700%. I also developed an interface to a major mortgage industry lender and served as lead designer and usability expert.

Max-Air Technologies Sizing Program

Max-Air was looking to increase sales and hired me to create an application for current and potential customers that would allow them to easily determine the right product for their needs. I developed a straightforward solution that guided customers through a series of short questions and then made suggestions of Max-Air Technology products that would fit their requirements, display the corresponding PDF documentation, and direct them to the contact information for ordering. Max-Air has been very pleased with the results and is oftentimes overwhelmed with sales.
